Genuine New Old Stock 5/16" spring washers..

All 5/16" spring washers currently available are actually an M8 equivalent..

The M8 spring washers have an internal measurement of nearly 9mm.

When used on a 5/16" set screw (fully threaded) they flop around all over the place, and are the reason that they get forced out from under the bolt head..

5/16" is 7.9mm on a shank, and around 7.8mm on the thread....

The supplied spring washers are a snug fit on a 5/16" bolt shank, and a good fit on a 5/16 thread.

A wide wire section and OE thickness, coupled with a correctly engineered locking tang,

These spring washers are bullet proof.

British built cars from the 50s 60s and 70s are riddled with 5/16" bolts that require spring washers.

Triumphs 6 cylinder engine has around 95 fitted

Triumphs 4 cylinder TR engine has around 55

MG 4 cylinder around 65
