HERE I HAVE FOR SALE... A ShackTune Koni Gland Nut Tool.. Many of the Koni damper inserts use a tool to tighten up the gland nut that holds the damper in to the original Strut tube.Sadly.... There is no tool available to actually screw them down correctly.Koni don't sell the tool, and there is no tool available from another application that will fit.Its an oddball pin spacing with small pin size.Universal gland nut tools don't fit, and neither will an angle grinder spanner. So here they are... ShackTune gland nut tools..The pin spacing is 38.2mm (1.5" inch) centre to centre, this is common to all but a few rare 60's Koni gland nuts...  All newly supplied gland nuts have the same pin spacing now.The two pins are hardened and centreless ground.The square hole takes a standard 1/2" drive torque wrench, and has been tested way beyond the specified torque figure for the gland nuts. Please Note - - To avoid damage to the damper rod, always depress the rod all the way in before tightening. - To avoid damage to you, the tool or the Gland nut, always pull steadily while keeping the tool flat against the nut.      THANKS...     TRIUMPHSTUFF...
