This kit took 4 years of development working with Koni & Eibach, and is designed to give the car impressive road holding and agility, but with standard ride height..At standard ride height the Mk1 and pre face lift Mk2's only have 2 inches of front suspension travel.The rear has 1 1/2 to 2 inches of travel..Lowering the car is only beneficial on super smooth roads and circuits..By utilising dampers with complex bump and rebound characteristics and stiffer high quality springs, There is no need to lower the car to get the desired road holding.. Currently there are approximately 8 motorsports cars and 36 road cars running the complete kit. It has sufficient adjustment to allow use on Road, Circuit or Rally. The kit consists of-2x * ShackTune Koni Race top adjustable front inserts, with full fitting kit. These bolt straight in and will work with standard top mounts or Chris Witor roller bearing top mounts. They give the strut 12mm less droop and 10mm more compression. Complex 3 valve units that significantly reduce body roll... Making an Anti roll bar unnecessary.2x ShackTune Koni rear dampers. The key features of these units, are 55mm shorter on the droop to stop stiffer/shorter springs falling out. 28% stiffer bump and 20% stiffer rebound (on the lowest setting)...2x ShackTune Eibach 175Lb front springs. Made from Ultra high grade spring steel, making them only 1.6kg...  A whole 1kg lighter than a standard or aftermarket spring... This means they react faster when you hit a bump...2x ShackTune Eibach 625lb rear springs. As with the fronts, high quality and low weight... Making them a perfect match for the tuned rear dampers.1x ShackTune Gland nut tool. This tool is for tightening up the gland nuts that hold the front dampers in to the strut tube. Available only from TriumphStuff..This kit gives the car a ride very similar to a modern car, a firm and controlled ride which far exceeds any other suspension kit available.But never crashy or jittery. * ShackTune Koni race front inserts...Starting with Koni's Legendary 8610 top adjustable race inserts...I have designed and made a kit of parts to allow the units to bolt straight in to a triumph strut.. Koni 8610 front inserts-These inserts have complex multiple valves on the bump/compression stroke.Slow Bump (ie when you load the car in a corner) has been massively increased..This controls body roll..Fast Bump (when you hit a bump) has had a small increase.The bump rates are fixed, and are not adjustable on the top adjuster.The rebound rate is adjustable from the top without having to remove the unit from the car.
