Here I Have For Sale..
A Set Of ShackTune-Eibach Springs to suit all Triumph 2000 Saloons and Estate's.
This Spring set is the pinnacle of what is available for the Triumph 2000 range of cars.Made with Eibach's Propriety EF2000 SiCrV Alloy Steel which is heat treated, shot peened, tempered and then stress set before a high chromic phosphate primer is applied, and topped off with a polyester resin powder coat.
The Front Springs are 175 Lb Rate and only weigh 1577g each, making them considerably lighter (by over 1.2kg) than standard or aftermarket springs.
This huge weight difference means that the springs have a dynamic rate far lower than even an original 120Lb spring.
This means the spring gives you body control without the punishing ride. Pot holes are absorbed rather than being transmitted to the body.
The rear Springs Weigh in at 2581g (for the 685Lb) once again, incredibly light for a 685Lb spring.
Because the steel is such high quality, the wire used doesn't need to be as thick as your thumb to get the high Lb rate..This also means they fit in to the trailing arm without rubbing.
The rear springs have 2 options.
Option - 1
625 Lb Rate for Saloons wanting a more modern feel with good body control and suppleness.
Option - 2
685 Lb Rate for Saloons and Estate's.
The 685 is still supple when used in the Saloon body, but will give a little more stiffness at rest, ideal for Ultimate body control or towing etc.
When used in the Estate, the 685 will give you a consistent body height.
Note- Good Quality Springs Should Not Settle Over Time... The rate should be the same 5 years after fitting, as they were when new.
Another note - You should always fit the front springs first.. Then fit the rear springs and finalise the height to give you 20mm to 30mm height difference.. The rear should be higher than the front, measured from the under sill not the wheel arch.Once you have it all fitted, that is your ride height... It will not sag from here on in..There should never be the words uttered, " it will settle in the next few days "... It wont settle, as the springs will keep there rate forever.
Also Available - A full set of ShackTune Koni Dampers... Please contact me if interested. These dampers are specific to me, and not standard Koni's.
Thanks. TriumphStuff
